The Death mask (originally Mask of corruption) appeared exclusively in Dragon Quest IV.
Location
The mask is found in Cascade Cave.
Effect
The death mask has a defence bonus of +200 and can be equipped by anyone except for Psaro....but it is cursed. The side effect results in confusion.
It can be sold for 6 gold coins.
