Dragon Quest VIII
The Gold rosary is an accessory that increases wisdom by 5. It can be bought for 500 gold in Savella Cathedral and Neos and sold for 250 gold.
Dragon Quest IX
Gold rosaries can be sold for 250 gold, but not bought. They have a defense bonus of +2, a Magical Mending bonus of +7, and a 1 star rarity. All vocations can equip it. They are common drops from Lesionnaires and Wight priests. Mimics drop them rarely. Its in game description is "A holy helping hand that slightly heightens magical mending."
