In chapter 2, the king of Endor is holding a tournament to attract powerful warriors.  The prize for winning the tournament is the hand of the princess in marriage.  Alena enters the tournament not only to prove her strength but to save the princess from an undesirable marriage.  Alena is able to win the tournament by defeating five opponents and by the forfeit of [[Necrosaro]], the only other person to defeat five opponents.
