Eric is a non-player character in Dragon Quest III. He is Olivia's lover who died while aboard a ship which then became the Phantom Ship. He can be found at one of the oars on the second deck of the Phantom Ship. He and Olivia's memories are stored in the Locket of Love aboard the ship.
