Hargon, Sorcerer of Rhone, is the primary villain in Enix's Dragon Warrior II. His minions attacked Moonbrooke Castle at the beginning of Dragon Warrior II, killing the king and destroying the palace.

Although defeating him appears to be the ultimate objective of the descendants of Erdrick from Midenhall, Cannock, and Moonbrooke, Hargon was in fact working to revive the God of Destruction, Malroth, whom they must destroy after defeating Hargon.

Hargon also appears in Dragon Warrior Monsters and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2.
