They are sold in most towns and have a similar effect to the [[Heal]] spell. Introduced as '''Herb''' in ''[[Dragon Warrior]]'', from ''[[Dragon Warrior II]]'' and on they were localized in the main series as '''Medical Herb''', though [[Eidos]] localized them as '''Herb''' in ''[[Dragon Warrior Monsters]]''. When ''[[Dragon Quest VIII]]'' was released, they were localized as '''Medicinal Herb'''.
