When the party explores the cave for themselves and discover monsters impersonating humans, they retrieve the the [[Symbol of faith]] hidden in the lowest level of the cave. This is the treasure that Hank and his friend attempted to retrieve themselves, and after realizing that his friend did not betray him his faith in humanity is restored.
