The Lethal armour is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first featured in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.
Characteristics
The lethal armour is a variant of the more common Restless armour that, unlike it's peers, has mastered spell-casting well enough to menace players with Kasap and Kasnooze. Forged in the fires of Hell, it stalks the world of man to paint itself further scarlet with the blood of it's victims, and often relies on summoning Cureslimes in battle. In some games such as the Joker series, the suits of armour have traded in their swords and wield halberds instead.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Unusually for the species, in the Joker games Lethal armours prefer to heft halberds rather than their standard swords.

Dragon Quest Tact
Lethal armour appears as an A-rank monster of the Inorganic family. It first appeared alongside the Killing machine on a special banner for new players that can be rerolled as many times as possible. The lethal armour could eventually be scouted from any limited banner, as well.
