The Lighthouse is the name of a tower dungeon in Dragon Quest II and Dragon Quest IV. Though sharing the same name, the towers in each game are generally unrelated.
Dragon Quest IV
The Lighthouse is located to the east of Kohlingen. Taloon is waiting on the 1F for the hero and requests that they restore the Sacred Fire to the lighthouse beacon on the top floor. Upon reaching the beacon, the heroes must battle 2 Flamers and a Bengal before restoring the fire. As a result of their help, Taloon joins the hero's party along with his Ship.
