Later on, when the Luminary returns to the castle, the King of Portoga explains that Baramos has revived despite the death of the [[Necrogondolier]]. He and the other kings have gathered their forces to confront the fiend, but Baramos' own armies have amassed to defend him. Beseeching the Luminary once more, the King of Portoga asks the Luminary to put an end to the evil once and for all. Once the archfiend has been killed once again, the King of Portoga declares that the Luminary is truly a light in the darkness and gives him a set of [[Golden claws]]--how he gained these is unknown.
