The power shield has a defense bonus of +38 and reduces breath damage by 10. It can be equipped by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VIII)|Hero]], [[Yangus]], or [[Angelo]] and sold for 9,000 gold. It can be made in the Alchemy Pot. Recipe: [[Magic shield]] + [[Strength ring]] + [[Cured Cheese]].
