Reverse Cycle is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It reflects breath attacks back to the source.

Dragon Quest VI

Known as Backdraft in this installment, the skill is learned by reaching rank 8 of the Ranger vocation. The skill works only once per use, but covers the whole party.

Dragon Quest IX

This ability is learned with 13 skill points allocated into Fan skill, and will reflect breath for 6~9 turns.
