Rotraven (やたがらす Yatagarasu) is a monster that was first introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters. So far it has not appeared in anything but the first two Monsters games and their remakes.

In Japanese, their name (やたがらす Yatagarasu) is a reference to the mythical Japanese raven, known as Yatagarasu.
