Trode is a good monarch, consumed with the well-being of his kingdom and especially of his daughter, but shows little concern for anything else. With his true identity masked, his pretentious attitude is a perpetual source of humor and his interactions with Yangus are enough to make everyone in the gruop laugh out loud. By the end of the game, he becomes the hero's father-in-law.
