Hammer is a monster in the series that was introduced in Dragon Quest VI.

Characteristics

Though identical in appearance to the iconic slime, Hammer is distinguished by his competitive demeanour, being described by other characters as a ruthless fighting machine. Despite this, he shows respect to those able to best him in combat.

Hammer is a powerful slime under the ownership of Sledge and is the champion of the Slimopolis arena, fought at the end of Rank A.
