One-on-One or Martyr’s Barter is skill mostly appearing in the Dragon Quest Monsters spin-offs.

One-on-One Japanese 特攻 (DQM series)
とっこう(DQ2 HD) Rōmaji Tokkō Type Skill Older names Kamikaze

It is a full body charge attack that will bring the practitioner and target down to 1 HP, and uses the target's Kamikazee resistance to calculate success. One-on-One is very similar to the more common Body Slam technique, but will not damage the user if the skill misses the target.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake

Introduced in the HD-2D remake of the second mainline game, Martyr’s Barter appears as the souped-up version of Double Up. It deals 520% Strike-element damage to one foe, but lowers the Prince of Midenhall's HP to 1. This skill will always miss if he has less than 30% of his maximum health then trying to use it.

Dragon Quest Monsters

Called Kamikaze with one "E" in this game, and requires the monster to reach level 18 with 126 HP, 108 Attack, and 108 Defence. It is naturally learned by the Army ant, HammerMan, RotRaven, and Spikerous monsters.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2

The requirements to learn Kamikaze are unchanged. It is naturally learned by the same monsters as before, along with the RushFish.

One-on-One can be learned from:

• Berserker (36 points)
• Boom Boxer (62 points)
• Martyr (45 points)
• Toughie (75 points)

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2

The skill has been slightly tweaked, with the success probability increasing if the target's HP is high. One-on-One will have 100% accuracy if the target has a max HP of 2,250 or more regardless of any kamikaze resistance. This aspect is balanced out against large and gigantic monsters, who innately cut the accuracy down to 50% and 25% respectively. One-on-One can be learned from all the skills it could be previously, though the point requirements for Berserker and Martyr have changed. It can now be learned from:
