Characteristics

Drag-goons are bipedal red-scaled dragons with goofy faces, a pair of wings on their back, and a long tail ending in spikes. Their undersides and their wing membranes are a shade of greenish teal. These dragons are somewhat cowardly, typically appearing alongside stronger monsters, and fleeing when threatened. In battle, they can kick up clouds of sand to try blinding their attackers. Their English name is a play on "dragon", "dragoon", and "goon", someone who is silly or stupid. Their Japanese name may be a reference to Garm, a monstrous wolf or dog from Norse mythology associated with Hel, the underworld.
