Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Known as Queen's Thong in this game, it costs 2 MP to use and deals 125% damage as a normal attack to a group of enemies and restores Jessica's HP by ¹⁄₄th of the damage dealt to the first enemy. It can be learned by Jessica by investing 82 skill points into her Whip skill, upgrading from the Lady's Thong skill.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Lash Batter costs 10 MP to use, deals 50% more damage than a normal attack to a single group of enemies, and has a 25% chance to beguiling them, as well. It is a secret skill that can be learned by Sylvando for 20 skill points through the Whips panel in his Character Builder, located on the lower-left next to the Showmanship panel. It requires all four of the surrounding panels to be unlocked first.

Trivia

• The skill's name in Dragon Quest XI is a play on the English idiom "to bat [one]'s eyelashes", which means to flirt or feign romantic interest in someone, either by literally fluttering one's eyelashes or merely in general, and the verb "batter".
