Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation edit
"The importance of humour in even the most sombre situations suddenly becomes abundantly clear. The reader resolves to be a ray of sunshine and a breath of fresh air, no matter the occasion!"

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age edit
This book is found in the library in Castle Trodain, and can be used on Jessica to get her personality sorted out while she stays at Chateau Felix. This doesn't work and turns her into a corny stand-up comedienne, and leaves her mother aghast.
Dragon Quest Monsters edit
Known as the ComedyBK in this version, it reduces a monster's Prudence stat by 50% which lowers the odds of them using status spells. They can be purchased in GreatTree after Terry has completed Rank S of the Tournament.
