Premium mould is an item in Dragon Quest VIII. It is a mould of the highest quality that is used in Alchemy for advanced cheesemaking.

Pieces of premium mould can be found at Dark Empycchu, Tryan Gully, the Black Citadel, the Dragovian Sanctuary, along with the Altar of Wroth in the Nintendo 3DS version. It can be purchased from the item shop at the Dragovian Sanctuary for 500 gold and sold for 500 gold. It can also be dropped rarely by Boss trolls.

Premium mould can be made in the Alchemy Pot and is also used in the following recipes:
