The Slugly betsy is a monster in the series.

Characteristics edit

Slugly betsies are female sea slug demons that can cast a variety of support spells in battle. They wear long purple shawls on their heads and shamanistic clothing, all decorated with feathers, and they carry tall golden staffs that they use to drain adventurers of their magic power. Despite their grotesque appearance, the slugly betsies have caring personalities and look after various river and sea monsters. Their English name is a play on "slug" and the 2006 American comedy television series Ugly Betty.

Description Warty, weighty witches who watch over their own with support spells. Irksome if they cast Kazing or Magic Barrier.

They may look monstrous but love nothing more than looking after the little beasties of river, sea and shore.
