Tome of Apocalypse

The Tome of Apocalypse is a new monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key.

Characteristics

Tomes of Apocalypse are demon monsters resembling books that are derived from the grimoire. The cover of these monsters is golden and has a complex decoration, featuring a glowing demonic eye surrounded by markings that resemble veins and two skeletons. If opened, the player will be attacked by a monster that is summoned by them, the power of the monster depending on the size of the book.

• The normal sized book is the Tome of Apocalypse (あくまの黙示録, Akuma no mokushiroku) and his eye is glowing in light blue, one slot.
• The medium sized book is the Grand Tome of Apocalypse (だいあくまの黙示録, Dai akuma no mokushiroku) and his eye is glowing in purple, two slots.
• The big sized book is the Archfiend's Tome of Apocalypse (魔王の黙示録, Maō no mokushiroku) and his eye is glowing in red, three slots.
