Wondrous wheat, also known as Fluffy wheat, is a recurring item in the series. It is a fluffy sheaf of the Triticum plant that is used extensively for cooking flour-based dishes.

Wondrous wheat is used as an ingredient in a variety of different cooking recipes. It can be grown by sowing and harvesting wondrous wheat seeds or purchased from a material shop for 640 gold each.
Dragon Quest Treasures edit
Wondrous wheat can be foraged from small plants on the Paternoggin and the Wingswept Moors, purchased at the base's shop for 200 gold each, or occasionally received by sending a dispatch team to the Snouterhorn of the Paternoggin. It is used for cooking dishes at the canteen or for scouting monsters.
