The Rousing ring, also known as the ring of awakening, is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. It is designed to help prevent the wearer from falling asleep.

The ring of awakening has a defence bonus of +10 and makes the wearer completely immune to sleep. It can be created by combining a Gold ring and a Dream blade in the Alchemy pot. It can be sold for 550 gold.

The recipe book Little Lifesavers contains the recipe for the rousing ring. It can be found in a treasure chest in Heliodor Castle in the Queen's Bedchamber during the second act.

The rousing ring increases sleep resistance +40.0%. It can only be made using the Alchemy Pot and can be sold for 300 gold.
