The Royal Hunting Ground is an area found east of Argonia in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

It is used by the royal family of this region to determine whether the current prince is worthy of being king by defeating an Argon lizard to obtain their heart.

A family lives in the house outside the area as caretakers of the area.
