Scare root
The Scare root, formerly known as Mandrake or Mandora is a recurrent monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest VI.

Characteristics
Scare roots are plant-like monsters, specifically roots of plants. Their body is brown except the budding stalk that contains the eye, which is fuchsia. Their arms and legs are made of some lesser roots that origin in their body.
