Seed of magic

A Seed of magic is an item that permanently raises maximum MP to whoever eats it. It can give off 3-5 MP points. Seeds of magic can be found in treasure chests, pots, drawers, or some enemies may drop them. They cannot be bought at shops.

Although absent from the original NES version, they can be found in the SNES and Gameboy Color remakes of Dragon Quest. Due to text limitations in the Gameboy Color remake of Dragon Quest, Seed of magic was renamed to MysticNut.
