Shogum

Template:MonsterInfo Shogum is a grotto boss in Dragon Quest IX. He is a red recolour of a grandpa slime, with a dual-bladed knight on top.

Combination of "Shogun" and "gum"

Detail Description

Shogum is a red slime, with a white beard, with a creature on his back.

Powers and Abilities

• Disrupting Shout
• Call for backup: Calls a King Cureslime to aid him in battle. (Usually fails.)
• Attack: A basic attack.
• Kaboom
• Killer Combo: A powered up physical attack.
• Can attack twice in one turn, but not always, as with most bosses.

Oddly enough, Shogum can block attacks despite not having a shield, but this can be explained because of a second sword he wields. Template:DQ9 Boss
