The Ace of spades is a recurring monster in the Monsters subseries and it was introduced in the first Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. It is also a member of the Incarnus family.

Characteristics

Since it is a corrupted form of the wulfspade ace, the appearance of the ace of spades is the same, however now its fur is black and red and the parts of the Incarnus armor that one day were yellow now are also black, referencing the corruption of this monster once again. The eyes have also changed to a solid yellow, like a demon or a possessed monster in some movies.

The ace of spades is a corrupted form of the wulfspade ace. It was created when the dark matter energy of the darkonium crystals was absorbed into its body. Although it plays an important part in the story, it cannot be scouted and must be synthesized to have on the team.

Dragon Quest Tact

The Ace of Spades appears as a S-rank member of the ??? family as part of the limited Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker event. It will join the party in Chapter 4, Episode 4: Peak Crises and it can be fully awakened by collecting Ace of Spades Crystals from clearing Boss Battle: Polluted by Dark Matter stages on any difficulty. Ace of Spades also stars in its own Battle Road.
