The Six Orbs are a set of mythical orbs that appear in several Dragon Quest games.

Appearances

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation

The six orbs are used to hatch Lamia. The orbs are found in various locations in the overworld; finding the orbs constitutes the largest sub-quest in the game.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

The six orbs (plus a seventh Gold Orb) are important items obtained in preparation for the final battle.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

The six orbs appear as extremely rare alchemy ingredients, for upgrading the most advanced equipment in the game. They are rare drops from the various Legacy Bosses.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

The six orbs are used to open the way to Yggdrasil. Acquiring the orbs is a large part of the Hero's quest.
