The Slaying mantis is a monster introduced in Dragon Quest VII. It can be found in El Monumento de Pomposo, the Wetlock region in the past, Hardlypool Tunnel, and the Highendreigh Tower during the flood.
Characteristics
Great green insects sneaky insects with pink markings on its head and back that slice at foes with their sickle-like forearms. Sometimes they'll dish out extra damage with an extra strong slice. Their great gawking eyes never stop staring at their prey, not even to blink. Their name is a play on "praying mantis".
