The Spiked hare is a recurring monster in the series and a popular one, being a juxtaposition of cute and menacing.

Characteristics

A Spiked hare is identical in looks to a bunicorn, only having purple fur instead of gray. Originally, it was pink colored and the original concept art reflected this. Later, it became a darker purple.

In terms of strength, the typical spiked hare is often a threat encountered early on, usually at around the time when the lesser bunicorn is no longer troublesome. It is often capable of building up its strength to launch a powerful attack.
