The Alarmour is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. It is a stronger, magenta-colored variant of the Harmour.

Characteristics

Scary and stubborn suits of armour that refuse to fall in battle, armed with only the sharpest halberd and a massive monstrous shield, embossed with a stunning motif. They posses a wild and wide range of strong skills to strike their enemies down, from element slash attacks, to Harvest Moon and Multislash used to slice through groups, and even a strike strong enough to bring down dragons. The armoured sentinels can be troublesome to spellcasters and physical attackers as well, due to their tendency to use Bounce, Whipping Boy, Desperate Measures, and Holy Impregnable on themselves.
