The water amulet is a sacred accessory imbued with the power of the boundless oceans, and is one of the four spirit amulets.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The water amulet is given to the party by the Water Spirit after Her revival at the Rainbow Cove on the shore of Estard island. It, along with the three other amulets, is necessary to clear a dead end in the Cathedral of Blight for the party to reach the final confrontation. When equipped the water amulet increases defence by +30, style by +20, and reduces Fire-element damage by 20 points. When used as an item in battle it will replicate the Zzz Shanty skill.
- In the Nintendo 3DS remake the amulet no longer reduces Fire-element damage.
