Wyrtle (originally Tortragon) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest III, it is a cross between a dragon (also known as wyrm) and a turtle.

• The English name is similar to its shape, the combination of "wyrm" and "turtle".
