Paralysis Attack is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It launches a melee attack that may paralyze the target.

Paralysis Attack is learned by the man o' war upon joining. It does not cost MP to use.

Dragon Quest Monsters
Called Paralyze in this game, this ability can be learned by various monsters. It requires the monster to be at least level 9, with 63 HP, 54 strength, and 54 intelligence. It is naturally learned by the Biguana, CactiBall and TreeSlime, among others. Monsters with the PoisonHit and NapAttack abilities can also learn it.
Dragon Quest Monsters 2
Paralyze has the same requirements as in Dragon Quest Monsters except that the intelligence requirement is now 98. It is naturally learned by the Anemon.
