Night sniper
The Night sniper is a recurring bow in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest X. It is a pitch-black bow made out of ebony wood.

In the Nintendo 3DS version, the night sniper has an attack bonus of +75 and increases the wielder's chance of landing a critical hit when attacking. It can only be equipped by Angelo as long as he is level 30. The bow can be sold for 29,000 gold, but it is not recommended to do so as only one can be acquired in the game.
The bow was available as a special promotion for Japanese players who uploaded their data to Square Enix's Members website after they had received a Puff-Puff from Le Club Puff-Puff. It also became available to international players for a short time in 2017, but after 2018, all DLC items for the 3DS version became unavailable.
Dragon Quest X
The night sniper has an attack bonus of +65, a style bonus of +8, a deftness bonus of +5, and increases the wielder's weight by 12. It has an equipment level of 42 and inflicts dark-elemental damage when making attacks. The bow can be made crafted with woodworking.
