Orc

For the Dragon Quest IV enemy formerly localized as "Orc", see Pickayune.

The Orc is a pig-headed monster wearing a green tunic and holding a spear. Their fur and clothing are dyed new colors as they advance upwards in their species' society, creating some putridly porcine pigment permutations.

Characteristics

Orcs are anthropomorphic boars that dress in simple clothing and carry spears as weapons. Contrary to common depictions in fantasy literature, movies, and video games that originated from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings series of books, the orcs of Dragon Quest are boar beastmen rather than green-skinned humanoids.
