The Morphean Mushroom is a gray-stalked Funghoul with a lavender cap dotted with light blue spots. It exchanges poison for intoxicating breath.

The Morphean Mushroom's name is derived from Morpheus, the Greek god of slumber.

It's Japanese name, Matango, is a reference to a 1963 body-horror film from Toho studios.
