Balloon

The balloon is a vehicle in some Dragon Quest games.

Dragon Quest IV

The balloon doesn't show up until almost the very end of the game. After bringing a carton of oil to a mechanic in Riverton, the party acquires his first prototype balloon. The balloon is necessary to visit the World Tree as well as Central Island, the site of the endgame.
