The Blizzybody is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It's a blue variant of the flamethrower, being a sinister-looking elemental that's given up fire for the frigid winds of the ninth circle of hell. Their name is a play on the term "busybody".
Characteristics
Blizzybodies are goblin-like humanoid creatures with teal-colored skin, pointy ears, and a mane of blue flames for hair. Like their fiery counterparts, they levitate in midair and delight in juggling the cold flames that they can manipulate. They have yellow eyes with small black pupils and an iron ring around the top of their heads, giving them the appearance of a fiery brazier. The blizzybodies wear white breastplates with a skirt attached over a pair of black trunks, a white pair of boots, and blue wristbands. They can freeze foes with ice-cold breath and ice magic and can stop them dead in their tracks by casting Whack or Thwack spells. The ice elementals have appeared as members of the Elemental and Material family, depending on the game.
