Meowgician

The meowgician (originally CatMage) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest VII, it is an anthropomorphic cat with mage-like qualities.

Characteristics

The meowgician is a bipedal cat monster wearing an orange robe with the ability to cast magic, and is often among the first monsters that the player encounters that can cast magic. It carries a carved wooden staff and wears a necklace with a bell. It usually knows Frizz (Blaze).

Meowgicians can be found in the the Tower in the past, the Rainbow Mines in the present, the Emberdale region in the past, Burnmont in the past, the Regenstein region in the past, and the [[L'Arca region in the past.
