The Shelligator is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is a literal take on the Alligator Snapping Turtle variety of terrapins, being a sea turtle with a crocodillian head.

Characteristics

Shiny green reptiles with a reputation for their ripping bites and solid shells. These odd shaped oceanic monsters have also been known to summon great waves of water or sea storms to crash over entire parties of their enemies.
