The Badja is a monster in the series.

Characteristics

Badjas are bipedal badgers with black fur and red markings in the shape of a mask over their eyes, carrying around a large red maple leaf. Around their necks, they wear a necklace of acorns. They fight using techniques used by fictional ninjas, such as shrouding themselves in mist to evade attackers, and have some knowledge of magic.

Badjas are entrusted with the scroll detailing the art of evasion when they grow old enough to leave the ninja village.
