King onion slimes are allium aristocracy which serve as one of the mascots of Dragon Quest Island, along with the commoner onion slimes.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The king and common onion slimes were added to the game as the result of poll for new monsters to appear. Specifically, the king onion slime is the mid-boss of the Astortia Defence Force (アストルティア防衛軍) raid event.
