The Expload is a monster in the series.

Characteristics

Exploads are enormous toad monsters that have a desert camouflage pattern of various shades of brown on their bumpy skin and are usually found in desert regions. They have two sets of cannon-like structures on their shoulders, which they use for artillery attacks. They can also expel flame breath from their mouths. The monster's Japanese name Desert Tank (デザートタンク, Dezāto tanku^?) is likely a reference to the arcade game of the same name developed by Sega.

Toad tanks dressed in drab for desert warfare. They work like well-oiled machines thanks to magnificent maintenance.

• The player must acquire turbo toad oil for Quest #32: Oil Get It! by defeating an expload with a critical hit. The quest can be repeated as many times as desired.
