The Ice queen is a monster in the series.

Characteristics edit

Ice queens are demonesses with the appearance of beautiful women, having pale skin, long light blue hair, and wearing strapless, floor-length blue dresses. Six wands topped with multicoloured crystals levitate in midair around them and they have a light-blue orb that floats above their head, which they use to attack. Although they are supposedly witches, the ice queens are not actually capable of casting spells. Instead, they will build up their Tension to dangerous levels in order to bolster their frigid breath.

Trivia edit

The Ice queen's feminine appearance, ability to exhale freezing blizzards, and habitat being an icy mountain are possibly an allusion to the Yuki-onna (雪女), a yōkai heavily associated with winter and snowstorms that takes the guise of a beautiful young woman.
