Cristo
Cristo (or Kiryl in the DS remake) is first a member of Princess Alena's party, who subsequently joins the hero's party in Dragon Warrior IV. He is a chancellor of Santeem, and first appears in Chapter 2, Princess Alena's Adventure, when both he and Brey join Alena when they discover she has escaped the castle to head out on a journey to prove her strength. Before Alena will join the hero's party, an ill Cristo must be healed with the Padequia Root. Once Cristo recovers, Alena and Cristo join with Brey again and become part of the hero's party.
Cristo mostly learns healing and support spells, but he also learns a few spells which can instantly slay one or multiple enemies. He can also equip some of the most powerful weapons and armor in the game including the Metal Babble Sword and Metal Babble Armor.
