The Crone is a monster that first appeared in Dragon Quest III. It is a humanoid monster with the appearance of a wizened old witch riding a flying broom, capable of casting a variety of spells in battle. Much like the Prestidigitators, they have sold their souls to evil and become monsters under Baramos' command.
Characteristics
Crones are old women with sallow skin, long unkempt grey hair, and have lost most of their teeth. They wear olive-colored robes and pointy hats and fly on a besom with a red handle and brown twigs, giving them the appearance of a stereotypical witch or hag seen in fairy tales. They attack by smacking enemies with their brooms like a club when out of MP.
