Dragon Quest X

Reappearing from 5.4 onwards, it is first encountered in the gorge leading to the temple where the Goddess Lutiana is reborn. From this game onwards, they are always encountered after the Dullahan. They once again cast Oomph, while they swing their maces with reckless abandon and is the first normal monster to use the Hell's Circle ability previously used by the Injury Vortex monster.

Dragon Quest XI

First found in the Fortress of Fear, they act mostly the same as in VIII and X, but cannot cast Oomph, instead using Air Pollution. In a sense of irony, they take the Dullahan's position of being encountered in the final dungeon.
